Information You Submit
Search terms such as a name, telephone number, or address are sent to the third-party provider that operates the result tool. Our servers do not keep a copy of those queries. When you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Like most hosted services, we may receive standard server-log information, including IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We review this in aggregate for security, reliability, and page-use trends. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or advertising measurement where used.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to operate and maintain the service, answer messages, diagnose faults, and understand aggregate traffic. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles from the information described here.
Links and Search Providers
Moorestown Residents Directory links to government portals, archives, libraries, and third-party search services. A separate provider’s privacy terms govern information submitted to that provider, including information entered in a sponsored search result.
Service Providers and Disclosures
Hosting and support providers may process the technical information needed to provide the service. Analytics or advertising providers may receive automatic data as described above. Information may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it.
Safeguards and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection. Technical logs are retained only for the period reasonably needed for the purposes described here. Because no accounts are offered, there is no visitor password or account profile maintained by this service.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If you believe a minor sent information to us, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to ask a website to access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain processing of personal data. New Jersey’s Data Privacy Act, P.L. 2023 c.266, took effect January 15, 2025 for qualifying covered controllers. Because this service keeps little visitor data, a request generally concerns the contact mailbox or retained logs. Use the Contact page to make a request. Government records held by Moorestown, Burlington County, or New Jersey remain with their respective custodians; publicly available government records are excluded from that Act’s personal-data definition.
Policy Changes
Any revision will appear on this page. Continued use after a posted revision means that the revised policy applies from its effective posting date.
